Posted: 25 Jul 2013 04:04 PM PDT Yesterday, Seattle's famous indie record label received a heartfelt letter from a Virginia Tech student asking if Nirvana, the legendary grunge band that split up in 1994, would be willing to appear in a pep rally video to be shown during Homecoming Week, alongside several other recording artists like Ying Yang Twins, Slightly Stoopid and "three famous NFL stars." According to Sub Pop's Tumblr blog post, the staff members did their best to accommodate by dressing up like Nirvana and recording a response video to be released in coming days. Posted: 25 Jul 2013 10:30 AM PDT "The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives..." Steering Wheel Schmeering Wheel Posted: 25 Jul 2013 10:15 AM PDT So an unlicensed Australian dude was pulled over for driving erratically on two blown-out tires. Posted: 25 Jul 2013 06:00 AM PDT An 8-year-old girl racked up a $6k tab on her dad's apple account in one month. She was playing free games, but purchasing all the add-ons. Oops. Apple decided to reimburse her dad -- probably to avoid a homicide. Submitted by: Unknown (via Yahoo News) |
