Russian Internet Makes Fun of Vladimir Putin for "Catching" and Kissing a Supposedly Massive Fish

Not long after the "catch" Russian Internet users starting uploading their own catches of Pike which were apparently lighter than Putin's but were way bigger. They speculate that Putin had weights inside the fish to make him look like the rugged outdoorsman he wants to portray.

Didn't you know that whenever you're President and about to do something extremely cool like catching an impossibly huge fish, finding some archaeological treasure, or even giving thumbs up at a particular protest you have to make sure there is always some sort of footage so everyone knows it is completely genuine?

Amanda Berry Makes Up for Lost Time with Nelly

After ten years in forced captivity, Amanda Berry (27), and two fellow captives broke free. Her first public appearance happened over the weekend at Roverfest in Cleveland. She took to the stage and was applauded by both the audience, and rapper Nelly.

"I wanna make sure we get a chance to thank you cause I know it's a long time," Nelly told Berry. "I can't even imagine the type of courage and strength it took to keep it going so, I commend you and thank you."

Radio Host Shane French is credited with her appearance. Weeks prior, he invited Berry to Roverfest to make up for lost time and party it up. Berry's appearance fell just one day after her captor was sentenced to life and 1,000 years in prison.
