Meanwhile in India of the Day: Morgan Freeman Mistaken for Nelson Mandela on Billbaord Posted: 19 Dec 2013 04:05 PM PST A public sign has been displayed in Coimbatore, India to commemorate Nelson Mandela but ended up being a huge FAIL when an image of American actor Morgan Freeman was mistaken for the late president of South Africa. Alongside Freeman, the poster also includes images of Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa and Martin Luther King Jr. According the the Huffington Post, the included text translates to the following: Among today's politicians who cannot think beyond the next election cycle, Nelson Mandela was a leader who thought of the well-being of future generations. He went to join Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King on 5.12.13. We bow down to him, proud to have lived during his time on earth and praise his message of love, non-violence and sacrifice. "The farmer may sleep, but the seeds he planted never will. The man responsible for the poster plans to have it amended. Submitted by: Unknown (via Huffington Post) |

This Idiotic Shot by Andrea Bargnani Sums Up the Knicks' Season Posted: 19 Dec 2013 11:45 AM PST The Knicks were in the lead in overtime and just needed to hang onto the ball to win the game. Well, lolnope, because Andrea Bargnani has a mental lapse and misses an ill-advised shot to give the ball back to the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks ended up scoring and sending the game into a second overtime. This is one of the most boneheaded plays I've ever seen in the NBA. Submitted by: Unknown |

Justin Bieber Gives Us The Best Christmas Present Posted: 19 Dec 2013 09:45 AM PST On a radio show in LA, Justin Bieber announced that his next album Journals would be his last. Sources are now claiming that the whole thing was a joke, but if not, maybe he'll convince Chris Brown to join him and finally make good on these retirement threats. You know, kill two birds with one stone. Submitted by: Unknown |

Posted: 19 Dec 2013 07:30 AM PST Beyoncé blessed the internet this week with a new album that no one saw coming. Frantic to capitalize on the tsunami of hype (which no one had the chance to do before release), bloggers, hipsters, and internet intellectuals (inter-lectuals?) raced as quickly as they could to dissect the "meaning" behind Queen Bey's new tracks. The result was a cascade of blog posts whose "deep" theories surrounding the album's lyrics sounded about as ridiculous as a middle school English essay.
