School Closing of the Day: Principal Delivers Epic Bohemian Rhapsody School Closing Message Posted: 04 Feb 2014 04:02 PM PST From the video description: We like to have fun at our school. So, after several school closings due to snow and cold, we recorded this call to parents to see if we could make them laugh. I think we succeeded. Boone County Schools in Kentucky is one of the nation's finest. And, our awesome parents deserve this chuckle. By the way, if this video can gain us some exposure, AND you know of someone willing to help us out with some cash for technology, we DESPERATELY need it. Ellen? Rosie? Oprah? Jimmy Kimmel? We love our jobs - I hope you can tell! Submitted by: Unknown |
Today's Manufactured Controversy: Was Flea's Bass Plugged in During the Super Bowl? Posted: 04 Feb 2014 04:01 PM PST This is the image that's been making the rounds from Sunday's Super Bowl half-time show. Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea - who is tragically without a sock attached to his junk in this pic - doesn't appear to be plugged in to anything during his performance in front of one of the largest televised crowds ever. This is apparently important because some people are really concerned about artistic authenticity and musicianship in one of the most choreographed and over the top performances of the year.
